Group celebrates art in Madera County

Families are invited to attend the 10th annual Madera County ArtsFest on Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the office of the Madera County Superintendent of Schools (1105 S. Madera Avenue).

This free event will promote art in Madera County in a carnival-type atmosphere. Madera County Schools Foundation and Madera County Superintendent of Schools will host the event. 

Children will be able to participate in free hands-on art activities consisting of decorating flower pots and paper bags, drawing on tambourines and necklaces, swirling pool paintings, and creating chalk murals. They will also be encouraged to work with their parents to draw a scene on a puzzle together.
