Fatality on Avenue 9

The Madera California Highway Patrol is investigating a motorcycle fatality on Avenue 9, just east of Road 32 that occurred at about 5:30 on Tuesday.
A person riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle allowed his bike to veer out of the westbound lane, and into the eastbound lane.
Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Avenue 9 at an unknown speed He drifted into eastbound traffic, and crashed into a gray Nissan that was traveling eastbound.
