County clerk honored

Jay Varney presents Rebecca “Becky” Martinez, Madera County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters, with a certificate of recognition for her 50 years of service with Madera County. Although Martinez has been with the county for 50 years as of Nov. 1, 2023, she was honored during a Madera County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday.
The Madera County Board of Supervisors honored longtime Madera County Clerk Rebecca Martinez for her years of service.
The Supervisors presented Martinez with a framed certificate after serving Madera County for more than 50 years. In addition, she has been elected the Madera County Clerk- Recorder and Registrar of Voters nine times.
Rebecca “Becky” Martinez is a lifelong Madera County resident, a devoted mother, a proud grandmother and the Madera County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters.
