Librarians in Madera County are showcasing how math can be fun, no matter how old you are, thanks to a new national grant.
Recently, Madera County Library’s Chowchilla Branch became just one of 20 libraries in the country, and the only one in California, to receive a grant from the Simons Foundation spearheading a national math initiative.
The grant of $10,000 will fund community engagement with hands-on, interactive math experiences for all ages.
