The Centennial Pool Complex will close for the remainder of the 2025 swimming season, the City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department announced Friday. 


The decision was made to prioritize necessary repairs to the facility’s underground plumbing infrastructure.


As part of routine operational oversight, monitoring by pool staff revealed unusually high water consumption. This prompted the City to proactively engage a professional leak analysis firm to conduct a comprehensive assessment. Using specialized acoustic technology, investigation pinpointed a leak within the primary return plumbing of the deep-water diving pool.
