Black Saints United will present the third annual Black History Month Celebration later this week in McNally Park and founder Anita Evans is planning a big event.

The Black History Month Celebration, which has a theme of “What’s Going On,” will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday in McNally Park.

“We started out the first year with 50 chairs out, but we didn’t make it,” Evans said. “Last year, we superseded those 50 chairs. This year, I’m having 100 chairs to set up so I’m expecting more people to be out there.”
