Madera County Animal Services is launching a free monthly on- site clinic to combat the feral cat population that will help protect public health.

Sunday marks the first on-site clinic event at Animal Services.

This new on-site program is a humane and effective way to manage feral cat populations. After trapping the feral cats, residents can take them to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped for identification, to the Madera County Animal Shelter (205 Tozer Street) from 6 a.m.-1 p.m., and then returned to their original outdoor home.
