4th annual Black History Month celebration planned

Black Saints United and the City of Madera will host the fourth annual Black History Month Celebration on Sunday at McNally Park at 3 p.m. 

“We hope we don’t get any rain,” said Anita Evans, Madera City Councilmember and a member of Black Saints United. “We are praying for no rain.”

However, according to weather.com, there is a 24 percent chance of rain in the afternoon with an 88 percent chance at night.
