Opinion: Lots of information on county from American Community Survey
Madera County, as is the case with other counties in California and throughout the United States, for that matter, is getting ready to take its decennial census next year. But it doesn’t look at this point as though the so-called citizenship question will be on it.
However, that may not matter, since a question like it is added to the annual American Community Survey, which is sent to 3.5 million households every year.
Here are some of the results of findings from the 2018 estimates, courtesy the U.S. Census Bureau. You probably won’t find them too surprising, but then, again, you may. And remember, these are county-wide (see following chart).
