New operating hours at Salvation Army

The Madera Salvation Army has new operating hours: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. through noon; closed from noon to 1 p.m.; and open again from 1 to 4 p.m.

• Emergency assistance programs: Emergency food box: Requires ID and copy of PG&E bill.

• Coats-4-Kids: Ages 3 to 12, the child must be accompanied by an adult and provide a copy of a birth certificate or medical card in the child’s name

• Summer camp program: Call for more information.

• Women’s Bible study: On Thursdays at 9 a.m.

• Christmas angel tree: Seasonal program.

• Back-to-School Program: Seasonal, beginning in June/July.
