The Madera Babe Ruth 14-year-old All-Star team is in preparation to make another run back to Utah and beyond.
Last year, as 13-year-olds, this group won the State Championship and represented Central California in Vernal, Utah in Babe Ruth’s Pacific Southwest Regionals.
This year Madera Babe Ruth will host the State Championship round in Madera, July 6-10 in Madera’s Mel Parker Field.
Fans can get a first look at this year’s team Sunday as they host the Central Valley Marlins U-16 team at 7 p.m. at Mel Parker Field or the following evening as they scrimmage the 15-year-old Babe Ruth All Star team at 7 p.m.
Both games are free admission, and a full snack bar with specialty items to help the team with fundraising.
