Images on display at upcoming exhibition

A photo of the Delicate Arch and the La Sal Mountains, one of several photos that will be on display during an exhibition at the Blanche Galloway room of the Madera County Library on Monday.
Images judged in Madera on March 24 and 25 in the San Joaquin Valley International Exhibition will be shown Monday in the Blanche Galloway room of the Madera County Library, 121 N. G Street at 7 p.m. Use the 5th Street entrance.
More than 3,200 digital images from 32 countries were submitted, but only 30 percent were accepted in four sections: Color, Creative, Nature and Wildlife. Images in Color and Creative were judged by three Saturday, and three different judges were viewing Nature and Wildlife on Sunday. Sam Shaw FPSA, MPSA from Merced is the General International Exhibition Chairman.
Anyone interested in seeing images from all over the world is invited to the showing. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served. For information, call Norma Mastin, 673-3990, or Shirley Ward, 674-9197.
