The Madera County Board of Supervisors on Monday voted to formally censure Madera County District Attorney David Linn over allegations of workplace misconduct. Linn denied the claims.

“Tami Gaither Law” wrote, “Maderas who’s who makes more money than larger cities with millions people. However this ends there will still be someone who will investigate the money exchange program in Madera. I can’t count how many times we’ve heard on and off the record of embezzlement from county and city departments. We know who were talking about. I’m sure the tax payers are choking yearly by these increase for folks sitting up on a platform.”

“Russ Ryan” wrote, “I absolutely trust the investigative reports, particularly when you have 5-6 deputy district attorneys with no axes to grind and at risk for retaliation confirm numerous incidents of racist, misogynistic and sexually inappropriate comments and behavior. I conduct such investigations and where there is that much smoke there is always a fire.”

“Michelle Garcia” wrote, “I don’t trust these private investigator reports.”

“Itachee” wrote, “Sounds like Linn needs a psych evaluation as he may be border line bipolar with anger management issues. In some cases involving PD it sounds like he could be locked up on a 5150 hold — 72 hour psych evaluation.” The smell test

A letter by Ray Krause voiced concern about the Madera County Board of Supervisors’ conduct in meetings with staff and the public.

“April Molina” wrote. “ According to the independent investigator, Linn called his employees ‘liars.’ The things that were said about him were inexcusable… Being a woman, I would dare any man to say the things he said about females to my face… This really irritates me. Would the ‘man’ who wrote this like Linn to say (something insulting) about his wife? Or his daughter? Articles like this are the reason feminism exists.”

“Bobby Sheikh” wrote, “It seems to be a very interesting situation.” Rants and Raves
