Plane crashes at Madera airport

A plane piloted by an instructor and student pilot crashed at Madera Municipal Airport on Wednesday evening after it drifted off the runway while landing.

No one was hurt in the crash.

“The plane initially made a safe landing on the runway and then the front landing gear appears to have possibly malfunctioned,” said Madera Police Det. Brent Cederquist.
