Learning With The Law continues

Madera police officers Steven Boehm and Grecia Herrera (pictured) visited the first grade classroom of teacher Amanda Alarcon at John Adams Elementary School this week for the department’s three-year-old Learning With The Law program.

Officers visit local kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms every two weeks to read to pupils, discuss safety and answer many questions.

Schools may request to be part of the program by contacting the Madera Police Department.
