National Gospel recording artists Reliance will be in concert at 6 p.m. Nov. 4 at First Assembly of God Church of Madera, 22444 Ave. 18 1/2. Reliance has played to audiences across the U.S. and on national TV with a rich vocal blend, testimonies and original songs.

Reliance performs on two nationally broadcast gospel music TV shows; Great American Gospel and American Gospel Onstage. Both shows are broadcast on Dish Network, DirecTV and over 200 cable systems nationally.

Stephen Anastasia sings the lead for Reliance. He lives in Long Beach with his wife and three little girls. He has performed as a classical vocalist singing opera and choral music productions and has a master of music degree. He also teaches music at two Southern California Colleges in his spare time. However, his first love has always been Southern Gospel music.

Singing tenor is Tyson Harness of Exeter. Harness has toured much of the U.S. and several other countries with the Celebrant Singers before joining Reliance. He comes from a very musical family. His father, James Harness, was a founding member of Reliance several years ago and wrote several songs that Reliance sings.

Founder and manager of the group Ken Hurley sings baritone and also wrote a few of the songs they sing. He can be heard playing Gospel music by today’s popular Gospel groups each week on three radio stations stations in Central California; Solid Gospel West with Dan Hurt every Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. on AM 1680 and Gospel Favorites with Earline Starnes every Sunday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on KMJ AM 580 and FM 105.9.
