Hallman graduates with master’s

Recent Howard University graduate Miracle Monét Hallman, a 2005 graduate of Madera High School, began her studies at California State University, Sacramento, and later transferred to Howard in Washington, D.C.

In 2010, Hallman became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority, the first sorority founded for African American college women.

She went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in psychology and human development in 2011.

In 2014, Hallman returned to Howard’s School of Social Work, where she was selected to participate in the International Service Learning Program. Through this program she and twenty-three other students were sent to Cape Town, South Africa, to learn about the global need for social work...
