Madera County crime log for May 29-31

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following events from May 29 to 31. May 29 6:16 a.m — Deputy was dispatched to the 50000 block of School Road in Oakhurst regarding a fire on the baseball field. A report was taken evidence obtained, no arrest made and case closed.

9:37 a.m. — Subject reports he was struck by a go cart driven by an employee at the Coarsegold Peddlers’ Fair. Investigation showed that the claim was unfounded; case to be closed.

6:39 p.m. — Deputies responded to the Chilkoot Campground for a missing adult. Search and rescue was called out to the location and they were able to locate the subject. The subject was returned to his campsite...
