Husband of missing Central California woman arrested

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Authorities say they've arrested the estranged husband of a Central California woman missing for more than a week.

KFSN-TV in Fresno reported Thursday that 30-year-old Cecilia Bravo Cabrera was last seen leaving a Tulare County casino with her husband, Francisco Valdivia.

Investigators later found the woman's burned-up car.

Capt. Tom Sigley of Tulare County Sheriff's Office says investigators went to question Valdivia at his pallet business, where they found an illegal marijuana grow.

Sigley says Valdivia was arrested on drug charges unrelated to Cabrera's disappearance. He remains in jail with bail set at $1 million.

The station reports that two had separated after eight years of marriage. Cabrera has four children.

Valdivia or an attorney representing him could not be reached for comment.
