Madera coaching legend passes
Longtime coach at Madera and Madera South high schools, Mark Lohuis, lost his battle with COVID-19 earlier this week. Lohuis was a coach of the 1996 Central Section championship team as well as many other teams during his tenure at Madera and at Madera South. Hawks hosting fall basketball tournament
After a hectic 2020-21 basketball season, the Liberty Hawks and 16 other schools are meeting in the Madera Ranchos for a two-game showcase for players and coaches to shake some rust off before the upcoming season.
