It’s a good thing that the Madera South wrestling coaches have a long weekend coming up.
Over the next three days, the Stallions will host the second annual Jr. America’s Cup, a horseshoe tournament and a dinner/dance fundraiser.
Sixteen teams from California, Arizona, Nevada and Oregon will compete in the tournament, which will also feature 19 Madera wrestlers.
“It’s a pretty big deal,” Madera South wrestling coach Jason Gaeth-Pearce said. “Last year we started with seven teams.” ...
