After winning five straight North Yosemite League matches, the Madera South boys volleyball team certainly didn’t see this one coming — being swept on its home floor.
The first-place Stallions hadn’t lost since dropping their NYL opener on March 22 before suffering a 3-0 stunning loss Tuesday night to the McLane-Fresno Highlanders at Madera South.
“It was very upsetting,” Madera South head coach Steve Guglielmana said. “We started out OK but the guys started thinking about winning or losing instead of just playing the game.”
