After finishing last season without a victory, the Madera South football team is hoping for a bounce-back year when it officially kicks off in the opener tonight at Kerman High.
Ready to put behind a season that was riddled by injuries and filled with big losses, the Stallions will face the Lions (1-0) tonight at 7.
“We have a lot of new guys and they’ve been working hard with great attitudes,” Stallion head coach Scott Donegan. “We’re fired up and ready to go. The attitude and effort is there. Last year was tough, that’s for sure but we just have to go out there and have fun.”
