In one of its best shooting games of the season, the Madera South Stallions boys basketball team came away with an important victory to stay out of the cellar of the County/Metro Athletic Conference.
The Stallions made every other shot, on average, of the night in a 55-40 victory over the San Joaquin Memorial-Panthers on Thursday at Madera South.
“Grinding it out is a good word,” head coach Jody Sharp said. “I’m very happy that I got all the seniors an opportunity to get in. That was very important. They’ve been loyal.”
