After losing its first North Yosemite League game of the season, the Madera South girls soccer team rebounded in a huge way as the Stallions got back into their dominant form.
Two days after being shut out, 1-0, at McLane-Fresno, Madera South came out shooting Friday against Roosevelt-Fresno, and had its highest scoring output of the season in a 7-0 win over the Rough Riders at Memorial Stadium.
“It was one of our best games of the year,” Madera South head coach Pat Evans said. “This game was a return to all the effort and skills that our players have. I tell these players all the time that they are artists and scientists. They bring both aspects to the game.”
