After weathering a 10-point Fresno High lead, the Madera South Stallion boys basketball team outscored the Warriors 58-32 the rest of the way to remain in the hunt for a North Yosemite League championship.
The Stallions (18-3, 3-1 NYL) took control of the game with a 15-0 run in the third quarter for a 69-53 victory Thursday night at Madera South.
“The only way to turn things around was to put pressure on them,” head coach Jody Sharp said. “We used the pressure to get things going. We’re not doing the things we can do right now.”
