After a 16-point win in the first day of the Madera South Classic girls basketball tournament, the Madera South Stallions closed the day with a dominant second half and a 48-27 victory over Kerman.
The Stallions outscored the Lions 32-8 in the second half and Taja Knox scored 16 of her game-high 20 points in the second half.
“It’s been Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for us,” head coach Matt Toews said. “It’s what we’ve been dealing with. We’ll play a great half and we’ll play a bad half. I like when we play the best half in the second half so we’re coming back.”
