The Madera South Stallion boys basketball team hung with the Edison-Fresno Tigers for a majority of the first quarter on Wednesday, but Edison’s athleticism, quickness and size took over.
The Stallions committed a season-high 35 turnovers in a 69-38 loss to the Tigers at Madera South.
“They are a better basketball team,” head coach Jody Sharp said. “I am proud of how our kids played. We were trying out a new defense and the kids did a good job. I was testing the waters.”
