After two tough road games, the Madera South football team returns to Memorial Stadium to take on the Selma Bears.
It will be Homecoming for the Stallions (0- 4) against a 1-3 Bears’ squad with the opening kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
The Stallions have won their last three Homecoming games and hope to pick up their first win of the season before heading into County/Metro Athletic Conference play for the first time in the program’s history.
“We’ve had a great run on Homecoming games,” Stallions head coach Scott Donegan said. “They (Homecoming festivities) have not been a distraction. The community comes out and supports the team. So, we’ve been focused and have good attitudes to work hard.” ...
