With a match with crosstown rival Madera High on the horizon, the Madera South Stallions girls soccer team faced its final Tri-River Athletic Conference opponent as a tune-up.

The Stallions fell behind 3-1 in the first half after three unanswered Clovis West goals, but fought back before losing 4-3 Tuesday in Memorial Stadium.

As the Stallions look forward to their match against the Coyotes tonight at 5:30 at Memorial Stadium, lessons are still being learned by the young Stallions.

The Stallions, who start seven underclassmen, fought back from a two-goal deficit twice to cut the lead down to one and put the pressure on the Golden Eagles...
