In its County/Metro Athletic Conference game against the Sanger Apaches, two off-innings by the Madera South softball team’s defense was enough to help the Apaches get the runs they needed to secure a win.
The Stallions gave up all of Sanger’s runs in the second and third innings Friday in a 6-2 loss at Madera South.
“Our goal is to come out and win each inning,” Stallion head coach Kelly Valmonte said. “We won the first and seventh innings. It was the innings in the middle that we were having trouble with.”
