The Madera South Stallion boys soccer team scored four second-half goals to cruise to a North Yosemite League victory over the McLane-Fresno Highlanders.
Manuel Rivera and Jose Herrera each scored two goals and Jose Nico Marcato added another for a 5-0 Madera South victory to keep the Stallions (11-6-3, 6-1) atop the NYL standings.
The Stallions learned earlier in the week that their 3.19 grade point average ranked them No. 1 from all boys soccer teams in the NYL and even the County/Metro Athletic Conference.
