After leading the Madera South cross country program to seven Central Section championships in six years including a boys Div. I runner-up state finish last season, former Stallions’ head coach Rich Parris has assumed the reins of the Chowchilla athletic department.

Coming in with a strong resume along with a proven work ethic, the newly named athletic director will guide the Redskins for the upcoming 2014-15 school year.

Parris, who is also a former CIF Coach of the Year, earned a total of 12 cross country section titles with Madera (boys 2002-2006) and, most recently, Madera South (boys 2008-2013, girls 2013) during his 11 years as a head coach in the Madera Unified School District.
