FRESNO -- It was clear there was one thing on the Madera South High girls' volleyball team's mind Thursday night -- the Sunnyside-Fresno Wildcats.
With San Joaquin Memorial-Fresno next in line on the schedule, the Stallions put all their attention on the Wildcats and it showed in a 3- 0 road win.
The Stallions ran their record to 9-0 in the North Yosemite League and, for the second year in a row, at least clinched a share of the title.
Before Madera South (20-7) could set its sights on the Panthers for a shot at an another outright championship, Stallion head coach Andrea Devine knew her team couldn't afford to overlook Sunnyside.
