After waiting a week because of Mother Nature, the Madera Speedway is ready to host a Grand Reopening Saturday.
The season opener will feature a newly paved asphalt track and will host the 450 laps of racing.
“We backed off last week,” owner Kenny Shepherd said. “With the Coors Light series coming in with 35-40 cars, we are going to do everything we can to get it in.”
The entire show that was going to run last week will run Saturday, featuring the Coors Light Open Late Models in a 100-lap main event and the West Coast Enduro drivers in a 250-lap main event...
