One of the pillars that helped lead the Madera Coyotes to a Div. I Valley Championship in 2003, Becky (Rialon) Berry has been across the country before returning to California.

Berry, a four-year varsity volleyball and basketball player, earned numerous awards in her athletic career, including being named Fresno’s Junior League of America Senior Girl Athlete of the Year. She earned two first team All-Tri-River Athletic Conference team selections and was an honorable mention and a second team member in basketball.

After graduating third in her class from Madera High in 2002, Berry attended University of California, Berkeley and then received her doctorate from Columbia University in New York City. She made the Dean’s List seven times at Berkeley. She was also a member of three basketball intramural championship teams at Berkeley and one at Columbia.

She married Mike Berry, Jr. in October 2011 and moved back to California where she is a licensed psychologist and works at Stanford School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry...
