Razos return with titles

Although it may have been a brief comeback for martial arts fighter Louie Razo, the 59-year-old could definitely say it was a successful one.

Along with his son Isaac, 26, the Razos, of Madera, returned as Kansas State Martial Arts Champions after knocking down the competition in their respective divisions at the Midwest Taekwondo Championships held at Bethel College in North Newton, Kan.

“That was his (Louie) grand finale and it was great that we were able to win this championship together,” Isaac said. “He showed he could fight like he was 20 years old again. Overall, it was really cool experience and we definitely celebrated.”
