It took about one-tenth of an inch of rain to alter plans for two Madera softball teams this weekend.
A storm hit the Clovis area Friday and soaked the Buchanan Softball Complex fields enough that it caused the postponement of the Buchanan Preseason Tournament for a week.
The Madera Coyotes are the only one of the three Madera high school teams unaffected by the postponement from March 9 to March 16.
