After an 11-0 victory over Rio Vista-Fresno on Monday, the Thomas Jefferson Middle School eighth grade baseball team scored 11 times in the first inning to cruise to a 16-2 victory Wednesday over Glacier Point-Fresno.
The Patriots banged out nine hits in the first inning. Isaac Rivera and Chris Bloodworth each went 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Rivera got the start on the mound and pitched two innings, striking out all six batters he faced.
