How they got here: Liberty received a first-round bye; defeated No. 8 Washington Union-Easton , 3-0 in the quarters and defeated No. 4 Fowler 9-5 in the semis. After a first-round bye, Taft defeated No. 7 Mira Monte-Bakersfield 18-0 in the quarterfinals and beat No. 3 Chowchilla, 5-0, in the semis.
