Logan Pierce returned the punt nine yards to the Mendota 32-yard line. On third-and-14, everyone in the stadium knew what was going to happen. Richey was going to look for receiver Travis Jordan for the first down. Richey threw down the field towards the left sideline. Jordan caught the ball just before going out of bounds at the five-yard line for a 31 yard gain.
