The Fresno State women’s lacrosse team has a new coach this season who has one primary goal: make the memory of the program’s 0-43 NCAA record a thing of the past.
Head coach Jessica Pausewang said the slate has been wiped clean and that the perception of the team will change.
“It has been blood, sweat and tears over the last three, going on four years, but the team has improved a lot in a short period of time,” Pausewang said. “The team has a positive energy, they really want that first victory and a lot of people in the community want it for them. It is nice to get everyone on board.”
Pausewang enters her first season in Fresno with a tremendous amount of experience in the sport...
