Many Madera Coyote baseball fans were wondering what was going on during last season when the sign affixed on the snack bar listing the rosters of the past champions was taken down.
The sign, which was starting to show its age, was taken down and replaced with a new marble one, which was installed last week, permanently affixed to the snack bar at Mel Parker Field.
“We wanted something nice to honor our past players,” athletic director Shane Riddle said. “Jason Murrietta (last year’s coach) got the ball rolling.”
