History. Tradition. Champions. These three words are often associated with the County/Metro Athletic Conference.
While athletic success has finally come to Madera South, Athletic Director Marty Bitter is ready to have those same three words associated with his program after the Stallions join the CMAC during 2012- 2013 school year.
Conference alignment is a topic that always gets sports fans talking. And as the media attention has focused on big conference realignments in the NCAA, Bitter believes the jump to a new conference will get sports fans in Madera talking just as much.
“It’s our chance to play with the big boys,” Bitter said. “We can put Madera on the map.”...
