Mountain Man Enduro comes to speedway

Both times the 200-lap Enduro series has entered the LoanMart Madera Speedway this season, the races have been marked by chaos — and this Saturday will likely be the same.

The last time the Enduro came to the Speedway, in June, 26 cars — on a track flooded with soap and water as with every Enduro race — bumped, skidded and spun around the track.

There was so much contact in the race that seven cars were unable to continue past the 100-lap point — where the race reverses direction — and several more did not finish.

Ron Wills leads the series with first and fourth place finishes in the first two races, with Steve Schermerchorn behind by only two points after he finished third both times...
