In a brutal sport like football, injuries are a common occurrence in the game.

They can happen at the most inopportune time, forcing a coach to alter, or in some cases completely abandon, his game plan. 

In the blink of an eye, an injury can even change the entire fortune of a team’s season.

While losing two players to serious health issues may hurt a team’s depth and be a factor in a losing season, Madera South head coach Scott Donegan doesn’t allow injuries to be an excuse for failure.  Instead, he believes they can serve as opportunities for his players to grow...
