The Madera South Stallion cross country program flexed its muscle Friday at the County/Metro Athletic Conference Championships at Woodward Park.

From the frosh/soph to the varsity, the Madera South Stallions stood atop the platform as the top team in the CMAC.

“We had a great day,” Madera South head coach Rich Parris said. “What was even more amazing was how it started. The frosh/soph boys and the junior varsity girls started off on a great note.”

The Madera South varsity boys cross country team, ranked No. 3 in the State in Div. I and No. 1 in the Central Section, had the first six runners cross the finish line. Their seventh place runner was eighth...
