The Madera High School ski and snowboard race team finished its season on Saturday at China Peak and finished third overall.
The team, which is a new club on campus, entered the Central California Ski and Snowboard Series at China Peak. Madera was among 11 schools participating in the series, which included races in the giant slalom and competition in slopestyle.
Club president Kaitlyn Allen led the Madera team, finishing first overall among the 11 schools. She finished the competition placing second in the giant slalom and second in slopestyle.
