Wednesday basically became elimination day for all three of Madera National Little League All- Star teams and two came away with a berth in the semifinals.
The highlight of the night was a 14-4 victory over Reedley by the MNLL 11-12-year-old all-stars. With their victory, MNLL will play at Madera American Little League at 7 p.m. today in another elimination game with a berth in the District 10 finals at stake.
“It’s a huge game for Madera,” manager Mike Alvarez said. “It shows a lot about Madera baseball. We are definitely two of the three best teams in the district.”
