VACAVILLE — It was a storybook ending for the Madera Bobby Sox All-Stars 18-under team in the 50th annual Tournament of Champions.
Madera went 4-0 in the two-day double elimination tournament which included a 11- 4 triumph over Hawaii in the title game.
“Our coaches couldn’t be more proud of this team,” Madera manager Carmen Diaz said. “It’s a great feeling for these girls; they’ve really progressed and worked so well together.”
